In 1954: Han Yuchen was born in Jilin Province in the northeast part of China. Influenced by his father, he took up Chinese calligraphy, and was keen on Chinese painting and drawing at an early age.
In 1968: Mr. Han worked as a clerk on secondment in the Publicity Department of Handan Railway Locomotive Branch, and started to draw the portrait of great man and the gouache at that time.
In 1970: Mr. Han entered Handan Wuqi Steel Mills, specializing in the work of fine arts publicity.
In 1972: Mr. Han attended the Class for Fine Arts Creation in Handan City, and taught by Li Hua and Su Gaoli, the two accomplished teachers from China Central Academy of Fine Arts.
In 1973: Mr. Han studied the oil painting and receivedthetraining under the guidance of Liang Yulong, who is the accomplished teacher from China Central Academy of Fine Arts.
In 1978: Mr. Han got acquainted with the famous artist Zhang Wenxin, who has been Mr. Han’s teacher for around 40 years.
In 1979: Mr. Han organized and established Handan Xingguang Painting Club and held an exhibition of his works.
In 1981: Mr. Han went out sketching from nature in Taihang Mountain with the artists, Zhang Yichun and Zheng Jindong.
In 1982: Mr. Han’s oil painting "Moonlight" was chosen for participating in Hebei Fine Arts Exhibition.
In 1984: Mr. Han went out sketching from nature in Beidaihe and Chengde.
In 1986: Mr. Han went out sketching from nature in Zhangjiajie.
In 1990: Mr. Han’s oil painting “Scenery of Zhangjiajie” was published in the People's Daily.
In 2002: Mr. Han published his “Collection of Calligraphy Works” and held the exhibition of his personal fine arts, calligraphy and photography in Handan Museum.
In 2004: Mr. Han’s oil painting “Zhangjiajie Tujia Inn” was honored with “Hebei Wuyi Cultural Award”. And his calligraphy was selected for “the First National Big Calligraphy Exhibition”.
In 2006: Mr. Han’s calligraphy works were chosen to be shown in “the First National Cursive Script Exhibition”. He also published his poetry collection “Zigui Qing (Friendship)” this year.
In 2007: Handan Yangguang Art Museum was founded by Mr. Han.
In 2008: Mr. Han was a member of the supervision and examination committee for “the Second National Cursive Art Exhibition”. And he was elected to be a vice chairman of Hebei Calligraphist Association this year.
In 2009: Mr. Han’s technical theoretical article themed “Cavalier Perspective Shooting” was published in Chinese Photography.
In 2010: Mr. Han was appointed as an honorary member of Chinese Artists Association Oil Painting Committee. His oil painting “Rooted in Zishan Mountain” was collected by Ma Yingjiu, a leader of Taiwan region.
In 2011: Mr. Han’s calligraphy work was chosen for “the First Chinese Long-Scroll Calligraphy Exhibition".
In 2012: Mr. Han’s photography collection "Mysterious Snowy Area" won the 2012 Top Ten Pictures of Chinese Photography Award. The oil painting named "Zhangjiajie Zicao Pond" was selected for the “Oil Painting Invitation Exhibition of Dingxin South China -- Our Land Our People” held by China Oil Painting Artistic Committee of Chinese Artists Association.
In 2013: Mr. Han’s oil painting of "Shepherdess” won a gold medal in the 152nd Session Art Exhibition of National Salon Artists Francais in France, which was chosen for being shown in the tour exhibition to Belgium, France and Holland.
The oil painting named “Niyang River Waterside” was selected to be shown in the “Oil Painting Invitation Exhibition of Fengyu Southwest China -- Our Land Our People”.
Mr. Han and his oil painting, calligraphy as well as the photography were also introduced specially in “Chinese Calligraphy”. The oil painting “Splendid Attire” was collected by Nilles, a Maestro from Belgium. The oil painting “ Snow Mountain with Towering Splendor" was collected by Nat Nogen, Dean of Royal College of Art, Belgium. In addition, his calligraphy was also collected in the Chinese Character Museum.
In 2014: The oil painting "Brother and Sister" was selected for the “the 12th National Fine Arts Exhibition”.
The Oil painting "Holly Lake Sangzhu (Sangdrol)" and "Dawn Light" had an exhibition tour of the “China’s Rhythm -- Exhibitions of One Hundred Years of Chinese Oil Painting Arts Revisiting” held by China National Academy of Painting.
The oil painting “Pilgrimage (On the Way to Adoration)” was honored with the Bronze Medal in Art Exhibition of National Salon Artists Francais in France.
The oil painting “Soaring” was collected by Sarkozy, the Former French President. The oil painting “Benevolence” was collected by Holland collector Post Waterraul. Han’s calligraphy was collected by Raffarin, the Former French Prime Minister. Chinese painting and calligraphy channel broadcast "Han Yuchen Exclusive Artistic Interview". Mr. Han was also invited to the Salon Comparisons in France and was elected to be the chairman of China commercial Calligraphers Association this year.
In 2015: Mr. Han was appointed as a distinguished art researcher of China Art Institute. His oil paintings exhibition about Tibet was held in Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Russia. What’s more, he was appointed to be an emeritus professor of Repin Academy of Fine Arts.
Mr. Han attended the World Art Fair in Monaco. The special issue of “Fine Arts” introduced his art pieces. Oil painting "Fascinated" was collected by the boss of the world-famous cosmetics，Sisley. Oil paintings "The Family" and "Little Droma" were collected by Patrick, the owner of Berko Gallery in Belgium. The oil painting “Childlike Innocence with Nature” was collected by Anna Chayford, an artist from New Zealand. This year, he was invited to the Salon Comparisons in France again.
In 2016: Mr. Han became a member of Chinese Artists Association. He held an oil painting exhibition of his own themed as “Tibet” called “Pure Grand Beauty”. The special issue of Chinese Cultural Figures by the China News Agency introduced him as well as his artistic creations specially. “The Ten Minutes About Culture ” in an artistic programme of the CCTV-3sat down for an exclusive interview with Mr. Han. Meanwhile, Han Yuchen Art Museum was completed in Handan. Oil painting "Brother and Sister" was collected by Erick Douwes, the owner of Jiedu Xifang(洁杜西方) Gallery in Holland.
In 2017: Mr. Han organized his personal exhibition in the National Museum of China. He was interviewed by CCTV painting and calligraphy channel specially. He attended the “Masterpieces of Great London Masters Art Fair”. The oil paintings “Little Jumba”, “Kamba Man (Man of Tibet)” and “At the Foot of the Red Wall” were collected by Shafiq, Chairman of Egypt's ARTOC art investment company. Oil paintings “Little Jumba” and “Longing” were collected by Davityan, the Chairman of CHARTERHOUSE GROUP LTD in the United Kingdom. Mr. Han was invited to the Salon Comparisons in France. And he published "Xintianyou -- Poetry Collection"，“Art Work Collection” and "Spark and Sensibility -- Record of Chatting on Art" .
