Han Yuchen's oil painting The Power of Faith and Deep Mountain Were Permanently Collected by the National Museum of China

  On the morning of December 7, two days before the opening of “Oil Painting Exhibition of Han Yuchen and Western Works”, the exhibition work was in full swing. Lv Zhangshen, director of the National Museum of China, accompanied by painter Han Yuchen, visited the Han Yuchen's oil paintings on the Tibetan theme in North Hall 2 of the National Museum. After his careful appreciation, Lu Zhangshen spoke highly of Han Yuchen's oil paintings and became interested in the 271cm×410cm large-scale oil painting Uplifting Large Buddha of the religious customs of the temples. He immediately decided to collect it in the National Museum of China and proposed to change its name into The Power of Faith. At the same time, the 200cm×255cm oil painting Deep Mountain showing the happy life of Tibetans in the new era was also collected.

  “Why did you choose to collect these two works?” When Han Yuchen and the accompanying staff asked, the director Lv Zhangshen replied,“The Power of Faith reproduces the unique culture of Tibet while the Deep Mountain praises the vitality of the atomic people. The construction of the National Museum is magnificent, and only the large-scale paintings can match to it and can highlight the appeal of art.”
 

  On December 9, at the opening ceremony of "Oil Painting Exhibition of Han Yuchen and Western Works", Lv Zhangshen, director of the National Museum of China, proposed a collection certificate to Han Yuchen.
